Last National League Game Tomorrow Evening

Club
Tomorrow night sees the very last game in the 2023 National League for our senior mens first team.
And what a final game it will be, at home against Cashmere Technical 7pm kick off.
It will be the third time the two sides have met this year, Christchurch United winning the first game in the Southern League and Cashmere Technical the next.

Here's what our first team head coach Paul Ifill said this week
"After what was a very successful Southern League campaign that saw us crowned champions on a crazy final day, the National League has proved to be a very different animal.
With the National league only being 9 games it has been difficult to navigate for a number of reasons.
The players have really given everything every week and although our results have not always been what we’d hope for, I am still happy with the signs of progress that have been made.
I believe that we have learnt a lot about ourselves as players and coaches and can’t wait to have a go at competing at the National League level again hopefully next year.
This evening we welcome Dan and his team from just across town, Cashmere Technical for the last derby this year.
Having taken a home game each so far I’m certain this will be another tight, but entertaining affair"

Don't forget our U19s are competing in the final of the Canterbury Development league at 5.45pm on the sameday.  So head on down to United Sports Centre and catch both games.
