Celebrating his 15th birthday only a matter of weeks ago, Oscar had been training with the CUFC First Team regularly throughout pre-season and impressed Danny and his senior players. Showing his evident quality, Oscar was given the all clear by NZ Football to play for the First Team: with the Chatham Cup 3rd Round proving his debut appearance for the club.
A great moment for both young Oscar and Christchurch United’s Academy.
