U19s In Final Canterbury Development League Tomorrow

Academy
Our U19s are heading into their last game of the year and what a way to end a season that started in late September.

The final of the Canterbury Development League brings Christchurch United U19s Vs. Nomads U19s kicking off at United Sports Centre tomorrow 5.45pm kick off.

After winning the regular U19s league by 4 goal difference over Nomads, our U19s will be looking to cap a stellar campaign with a final win.

Coach Daniel Godden gave this statement as the squad headed into their final training session this week.
"We've got a tremendously exciting match up to finish the season. Nomads bring an attractive and technical style of football to the table and are exceptionally well coached. They also have a number of players who have been involved in the senior Southern League environment during the course of the season so we will have to be at our best to compete and take the honours. For our lads it is a perfect test to end a season of continuous improvement and effort. We are capable of delivering at this level so let's hope we can provide a final that lives up to the potential this fixture provides".

We wish the squad good luck, remember to head down to cheer them on and then stay afterwards to watch the last National League game for our senior mens first team vs Cashmere Technical.
