Christchurch United academy graduate Samantha Senior played for us since we set up the Christchurch Football Academy, before we merged with Christchurch United.
Sam was selected in the New Zealand Women’s Under-16 squad for the Oceania Championships and has since gone on to play in the USA
Samantha’s father Glen Senior credits all the coaches and her team-mate at the academy for getting Samantha to the level she is now. “Much of Sam’s success is owed to the time she spent at United and in the boys’ teams,” says Glen.
