De Groot-Green called up to Samoan National Team for OFC Nations Cup

👏 Huge congrats to Kaleb De Groot-Green, who has been called up by the Samoan National Team for the OFC Nations Cup!

"It’s always a special honour to represent Samoa. Fortunately, I’ve been selected for the OFC Nations Cup. Having not played in this tournament yet, it’s hard to know what we will be coming up against.

The teams in our pool, Tahiti, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea, are all solid and experienced teams who I’m sure have been training hard and preparing well. Also, it will be a good challenge for us to play these teams in Fiji. Our team is looking strong, and there is a good feeling within the squad after our training camp.

We aim to do our best and go as far as possible, which we have a good chance to do if we play well.

Hopefully, we can do what we’ve been preparing for.
